Wodehouse in Exile (2013)
Christine watched a semi-biographical film about author PG Wodehouse’s time right before and slightly after his time in an internment camp during WWII. In typical Wodehouse fashion, he writes lightly of his time there and, under the guide of German sway, broadcasts a message of what he thinks will show his US supporters that he has been battered but not beaten. Of course, this is seen as treasonous by his fellow British citizens, and his name is never truly cleared. Since PG Wodehouse is one of his wife’s favorite authors, Dale was surprised that he never knew he was in an internment camp.
